PROPOSAL & EDITING PROCESS

1.Email your pitch (less than 250 words) or submit the proposal form.

2. We will then email you back with feedback about your article pitch and set an agreed deadline for your first draft.

3. You submit your draft (preferably by sharing a Google doc) to wocandlib@gmail.com

4. We confirm submission of your draft and assign editor(s) from our team.

5. We email you back with changes that we ask you to approve for publication.

6. We publish and signal boost your piece!


 
 

Framing Questions to guide your writing and submissions.

  • What is a burning thought or criticism you have about being in a GLAM field or in the GLAM profession?

  • What is something important that you can contribute to the conversation?

  • Who haven’t we heard from? How can we amplify their voice?

  • What has been particularly difficult or challenging? Can you propose solutions for how to improve the situation?
